Janet has enjoyed a multi-faceted career that includes acting, screenwriting, and teaching high school theatre.  Happily, she’s found that the green room, the classroom, and the writer’s room have plenty in common, and feels lucky to have spent time in all three. While raising her daughter, Janet taught theatre full-time for the LAUSD.  Now the proud mom of a classical violinist, she is thrilled to be performing again. When not on-camera, onstage or in the recording booth, she is most at peace in motion: dancing, traveling…and mentoring young artists. These days, she also spends time fighting authoritarianism through mutual aid, protest and advocacy. Raised in New Jersey, Janet graduated from Oberlin College in Ohio and The Drama Studio in London.
