An award-winning actor with a gift for comedy, Janet recently returned to performing after taking a hiatus to teach theatre while raising her daughter. She’s having a blast being back on screen, onstage and in the recording booth!
Recent film roles include fierce, funny women in Apple TV’s GOVERNMENT CHEESE, Indie features PEEKY, OMI, and several award-winning shorts, including THE AUSCHWITZ BAGEL, GRINGO LATINO and VOTE FOR LOLA. Prior to her hiatus, Janet guest-starred on top shows such as PRETTY LITTLE LIARS and faced off with Keke Palmer in the popular classic AKEELAH AND THE BEE. She has premiered the work of leading playwrights Off-Broadway, in regional theatre and across Los Angeles, currently starring in LUGGAGE, by playwright and TV writer Jacquelyn Reingold (The Good Fight) in the Short’N Sweet Theatre Festival. Janet’s solo show THE RAMONA ROSES, inspired by her students at Ramona Opportunity School in East Los Angeles, toured the country to rave reviews.
